Complete Filtration in One System

The FiltoClear filtration process works in three stages:

Mechanical Filtration

Multiple foam sponge layers trap debris and particles of varying sizes, removing visible waste from pond water.

Biological Filtration

The sponge pads act as a colonisation site for beneficial bacteria, which break down harmful nutrients such as ammonia and nitrite.

UV Clarification

The integrated UVC lamp passes water over a quartz sleeve, exposing it to ultraviolet light that eliminates algae cells and harmful pathogens too small to be captured by the filter sponges.

This multi-stage system helps maintain consistently clear, balanced pond water.

Supplied with AquaMax Eco Premium Pumps

Each FiltoClear filter set includes a perfectly matched Oase AquaMax Eco Premium Pump to ensure optimal flow and filtration performance.

These pumps feature:

Easy Cleaning & Maintenance

FiltoClear filters are designed to simplify maintenance with several user-friendly features:

• Optimised Cleaning Handle

• Compresses filter sponges with minimal force during cleaning cycles.

• Individual Sponge Compression

• Each sponge layer is compressed separately, improving debris removal and cleaning efficiency.

• Simplified Waste Valve

• Allows quick discharge of dirty water during cleaning.

• Flow Indicator

Transparent hose tails include a blue indicator ring showing water flow rate, helping identify when cleaning is required.

Smart Service Design

The FiltoClear system allows servicing without shutting down filtration:

• UV ballast can be removed for lamp replacement

• Filter and pump can continue running during servicing

This ensures continuous water circulation and minimal disruption to the pond ecosystem.

Secure Pressure Housing

The filter lid uses a metal clamp ring with ergonomic lever function, creating a secure seal capable of handling pressurised operation.

Once the system is pressurised by the pump, the clamp tightens further to ensure complete sealing.
