The Cetus is a bow-screen pre-filter equipped with a finely engineered 300-micron stainless steel mesh.
Its job? To strip out solids before water reaches your main filter system. This simple yet incredibly effective step boosts the performance of any biological filter downstream and gives you longer gaps between cleaning cycles—basically it keeps the whole system running smoother, cleaner, and way more efficiently.
Maintenance stays nice and straightforward too: just rinse the screen with a hose and send the waste straight out via the outlet.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the Cetus can be installed on both gravity-fed and pump-fed systems. In gravity-fed setups, the self-adjusting intake automatically follows the pond’s water level, ensuring a consistent flow to your pump.
Each unit includes a 4"–1½" reducing rubber boot for the inlet (pump-fed) or outlet (gravity-fed), giving easy connection to 1½" PVC pipe.
You’ll also get a 3" rubber elbow to fit 3" PVC pipe on the waste outlet.
